Dr. Marco Sariñana is a Board Certified Aesthetic & Weight Loss Surgeon based out of Mexicali BC Mexico. He is currently one of Hospital de la Familia’s most productive surgeon performing an average of 40 surgeries monthly, both Aesthetic & Weight Loss procedures. He is known as a “Complete Body Makeover Surgeon” for major body transformation procedures.
Dr. Marco Sariñana is a graduate of the UABC Faculty of Medicine in Mexicali ( 1998-2002). His Social service residency followed in Mexicali and Ensenada for the next 2 years until he completed his tasks and was accepted to for General Surgery board certification at the Hospital General de Zacatecas, Mexico. ( 2002-2006 ) where he recieved his Board Certification for General Surgery in 2006. He knew he was not done and was seeking more board certifications in more specialties.
In 2007, Dr. Sariñana received Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Bariatric Surgery training in Tijuana as well as a Fellowship in Gastric Banding and Gastric Balloon. As a continuing process of his preparation, he expanded his studies and practice to Diagnostic Endoscopy and training in all sorts of weight loss procedures. He soon became a very popular Weight Loss surgeon due to his advanced training and success rate in working with difficult cases.
In 2013, Dr. Sariñana began training and specializing in Cosmetic & Aesthetic Surgeries, primarily as he realized that his weight loss patient were looking for Cosmetic surgeries due to the excess skin visible that takes place after major weight loss. He absolutely fell in love with the Weight Loss/ Aesthetic combination and since 2015 onwards, has performed both Cosmetic & Weight Loss procedures out of Hospital de la Familia in Mexicali BC Mexico

Dr Marco Sarinana is an avid Star Wars fans with a large collection of collectables from the Movies. He usually does not have much spare time but when he does besides being with his family, he enjoys going Off Road in his Pilot Off Road Racer as Mexicali and Yuma AZ have one of the best Sand Dunes in the region ( Cuervitos ).
