Alfonso Ponce MD is a Board Certified Ottorinologist based out of Mexicali BC Mexico. He began his medical practice quest in 1985 when he enrolled at the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California School of Medicine Program. Once completing his Medical Degree, he continued his medical career by enrolling for his residency in Monterrey Mexico. ( Both Hospitals are part of IMSS – Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social ).
In 1992, he decided to become an ENT Surgeon ( Ottorincy at Centro Medico de Especialidades #71 in Torreon, Coahuila, and at the Hospital de Especialidades #24 in Monterrey NL MX ) finding his passion in assisting patients with Nose, Throat & Ears conditions.
His 4 years degree made him a Board Certified Ottorinologist from the Escuela de Especialidades, Monterrey Mexico, and soon after got to work
By opening his private practice in Mexicali, BC Mexico in 1995.
Dr Alfonso Ponce is one of the most popular surgeons in Mexicali for Rhinoplasties and Facial Cosmetic Procedures such as Face Lifts. He continues to practice both ENT and Facial Cosmetic surgeries on a daily basis
Dr Alfonso Ponce is an Alumni of the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California in Mexicali BC Mexico and completed his residency at Centro Medico de Especialidades #71 in Torreon, Cohahuila and at the Hospital de Especialidades # 24 , Monterrey NL Mexico.
He continues to take training in the most advanced Aesthetic Facial Treatments and is a frequent attendee in International Congresses related to ENT and Facial Aesthetic Procedures.

1992– Was accepted to begin his Board Certification Speciality for ENT surgery at
1995– Became Board Certified Ottorinologist in Mexico ( # 3626367 )
1996– Began his Private practice in Mexicali BC Mexico
2010– Enrolled in Aesthetic Surgery Board Certification at the Maestria de Especialidades , Veracruz Mexico
2012– Became an Aesthetic Facial Board Certified surgeon from Maestria de Especialidades, Veracruz Mexico ( # 8031660 )
2014– Fellowship with Dr Jose Luis Salas Martinez , Tijuana Mexico
2015– Fellowship in Aesthetic Neck surgerical procedures, Tijuana Mexico
